An angry wino and a skater-hater were charged with assault after one smashed a bottle of merlot over the other’s head at a bar on Bedford Avenue on June 9.

The first victim told cops that the two were arguing at the watering hole, which is between North Seventh and Eighth streets, at about 10 pm when the bottle got involved. He left with cuts on his head, and the drunken jerk left with police.

But after questioning, the first perp revealed that the injured man had hit him with a skateboard multiple times on the head and arms earlier that night. Both were charged with assault.

Where: 174 Bedford Ave.
