No ‘escape’

Thieves used the fire escape to steal thousands in electronics and jewelry from an Eighth Avenue apartment on July 29.

The victim returned to his unit, which is at Third Street, at around 8:30 pm and discovered that a computer and antique baubles had been swiped.

He told cops that he had left for work at 8:20 am.
