Radio Shack steal

A crew of tunnel rats raided a local Radio Shack on July 22 after digging their way under the store, cops were told.

Police said the thieves drilled the locks to a store sidewalk cellar hatch on Rockaway Parkway and Seaview Avenue and went down into the basement.

Once they were underground, they drilled a 3-by-4-foot hole through a concrete wall into the store, taking an assortment of DVDs and flatscreen televisions, according to published reports.

Cops were still looking for the thieves as this paper went to press.
