A pair of smooth criminals made off with $7,500 after a well-coordinated pick-pocketing on Washington Avenue on July 23.

The 57-year-old victim said she was leaving the Capital One bank between Eastern Parkway and Lincoln Place after making a withdrawal when she was approached by a middle-aged woman asking for directions.

Seconds later, another lady walked up and appeared to be with the directions-seeker.

After giving directions, the victim went on her way, only to discover that $7,500 had been taken from her pocket.
