Dolce Amore Foods opened in Astoria, Queens in 1989 and moved to Clinton Hill in 2001. The inventory includes products that range from fresh pasta to gelato. There is a section of the factory called “Cash and Carry,” where owner Vincenzo Arpaia invites regular folks to take home his all-Italian food products at wholesale prices. With more than 50 different types of ravioli (cheese and spinach, wild mushroom, butternut squash, artichoke in olive dough, and eggplant — to name a few) and about 100 different flavors of ice cream, making a choice is tough. Open Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 4 pm. Closed weekends.
