Coppa also busses tables and explains the versatile menu, mastered by his chef — and wife — Anna Klinger. To start with, try an appetizer like the fragrant fennel and grilled sardines, or the exquisite pastas like the poppy-seeded sweet beet ravioli, or brown-butter-slicked squash tortellini. As a second course, you might order the succulent polenta beneath braised rabbit with thyme and olive gravy, or the tender calves’ liver slivered over sweet and sour onions.
