All baking is done on the premises at this two-year-old European-style pastry shop, owned by Herve Poussot. The glass cases are full of sinfully rich desserts such as the chocolate eclair, Napoleon and various cookies and pastries. Poussot says that their sandwiches are made on the “best baguettes in New York” and come with fillings ranging from prosciutto, mozzarella and roasted peppers to apples and brie. They also offer a selection of quiches. Cakes for special occasions can be made to order, and some cakes are available in the showcase. Open daily from 7:00 am-7:00 pm.
