Elegant homes in eight Brooklyn neighborhoods will be welcoming visitors curious to see beyond the lace curtains and the stained-glass windows as house tour season kicks off in the borough.
The tours will take place from May through October, in a bevy of house-proud communities including Fort Greene (Sunday, May 4), Brooklyn Heights (Saturday, May 10), Park Slope (Sunday, May 18), Prospect Lefferts Gardens (Sunday, June 1), Boerum Hill (Sunday, June 1), Victorian Flatbush (Sunday, June 8), Crown Heights North (Saturday, October 4) and Bedford Stuyvesant (Saturday, October 18).
In addition, glorious gardens in Prospect Heights, Fort Greene and Clinton Hill will be on view during the Brownstone Brooklyn Garden District Annual Walk, on Sunday, June 8.
All the tours go on, rain or shine, and are go-at-your-own-pace, self-guided excursions.
