With Cinco De Mayo right around the corner, Flatbush Farm & Bar rolls out a little Mexican-inspired cuisine for its next outdoor BBQ from 3-6 p.m., May 4.
Chef Stephen Browning will grill up carne asada skewers, posole (hominy stew), chicken tacos and beef tongue tacos, vegetarian quesadillas, rice & beans, chips with homemade salsa, tangy guacamole and, as always, Sixpoint Craft Ales.
To add to the spirit of the day, the outdoor patio will be graced by a Traveling Norteño Band.
Fresh vegetables in the quesadillas will hail from Eberhard Muller’s Satur Farms out on Long Island. Spring your Mexican BBQ on.
