Members of the National Police for the Dominican Republic presented Detective Dennis Diaz and Police Officer Damarys Franco, Community Affairs Officers with the 83rd Precinct, with an award recognizing their work with the community.

Reverend Nelson Louis Aponte of the Evangelical Movement Inc. Church (213 Meserole Street), Reverend Raymond Matos and Reverend Cirraco Morillo, both of the Pentecostal Del Triunfo Inc. Church (169 Utica Avenue), presented the award on behalf of the National Police and the International Christian Chaplains at the 83rd Precinct Clergy Council's May meeting.
