Despite losing in the second round of the playoffs for a second consecutive year, Marinello, in his fourth season as head coach, has guided Fontbonne Hall Academy to four consecutive playoff appearances and three straight division titles. In 2008, Marinello finished a career-best 15-2 with an opening round 6-4 playoff victory against Christ the King, but fell 5-1 to Archbishop Molloy. But despite back-to-back setbacks, Marinello seems to be the perfect fit at “The Academy,” as the skipper will look for that elusive second round playoff win and a championship title next season.
