Local Parent-Teacher Association presidents can now take their work to the next level, thanks to a high tech donation by Assemblymember Rhoda Jacobs and the Flatbush Development Corporation (FDC).
The local lawmaker presented laptop computers and printers to the PTAs of 13 area schools at the FDA office, 1616 Newkirk Avenue.
The recipients were: Public Schools 6, 43 Snyder Avenue; 139, 330 Rugby Road; 152, 725 East 23rd Street; 181, 1023 New York Avenue; 193, 2515 Avenue L; 217, 1100 Newkirk Avenue; 245, 2222 Church Avenue; 249, 18 Marlborough Road; 269, 1957 Nostrand Avenue; 315, 2310 Glenwood Road; and 399, 2707 Albemarle Road; and Intermediate Schools 240, 2500 Nostrand Avenue; and 246, 72 Veronica Place.
