Danny Kalb, long recognized as one of America’s top guitarists, will be performing a free show on August 22 at Two Boots Restaurant in Brooklyn.
Kalb is a founding member of “The Blues Project,” one of the original NY-based blues bands of the mid-1960s. He is also known for his session playing, which includes albums by Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, and Dave Van Ronk.
Kalb will be performing with his trio, featuring Bob Jones on bass and Mark Ambrosino on drums. They will perform two sets beginning at 9:30 p.m. There is no cover and no drink minimum. Reservations are recommended.
