Neighbors – among them local track star Anthony Killiebrew – shared the last rays of summer by uniting for a block party in Coney Island.
Residents of West 32nd Street, between Mermaid and Neptune avenues, enjoyed a day of simple pleasures, capped by sports tourneys, barbecue fare and deejay music.
The annual revel cemented old friendships while striking up new ones on the block.
