Barnes & Noble Court invites the public to participate in its calendar of events throughout September. Here’s what’s on tap this week:
Discussion & Signing: Writers on Writing, Hosted by Brenda M. Greene and Fred Beauford, September 22 at 7 p.m. Editors Brenda M. Greene, professor at Medgar Evers College, and Fred Beauford, editor in chief of “The New World Review,” will host a panel of authors discussing “Meditations and Ascensions: Black Writers on Writing.”
Discussion & Signing Danny Fingeroth, September 23 at 7 p.m. Author Danny Fingeroth will discuss his newest addition to the literary comic world, “The Rough Guide to Graphic Novels.” It includes the medium’s history, from sequential art in Egyptian tombs, through the superhero boom of the 1940s, to the birth of the graphic novel movement.
