The 50th anniversary of the Hanson Place Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fort Green, Hanson Place & South Portland Avenue, will be observed with celebration and song, October 12 & 19.
As part of the observance, the Hanson Place Sanctuary Choir, orchestra and featured soloists, present in concert Joseph Haydn’s oratorio, “The Creation” at 5:30 p.m., October 12 in the Brooklyn Technical High School Auditorium, 29 Fort Greene Place.
Tickets are $25/adults, $20/seniors (65-plus), and $15/children (under 12).
Additionally, a 50th Anniversary Gala Luncheon, 12 p.m., October 19 at Stage 6 at Steiner Studios, 15 Washington Avenue, will honor Jeremiah Cox Jr., Vincent Gadiere, Clinton Ingram, Emelda S. John, and Dr. Glen Phillips.
Tickets are $125/adults and $100 seniors (65-plus) and children (under 12).
