The North Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District will hold its Third Annual Holiday Silent Auction, December 16 at 254 Flatbush Avenue from 7-10 p.m.
All of the proceeds from this silent auction benefit the children of the Prospect Heights/Park Slope neighborhood with children’s programming in the Pacific Street Brooklyn Bears Community Garden for 2009.
During the year, approximately 500 children have visited the North Flatbush Avenue BID’s events, which included Summer Activity Day in July, Earth Day in May and the biggest event, Halloween Spooktacular in October.
The North Flatbush Avenue BID will be auctioning off gifts and gift certificates from area merchants as well as lunch for two at Juniors Restaurant with Borough President Marty Markowitz, and lunch for two with food critic and author, Arthur Schwartz.
There will be food, wine and live music provided by the First String Quintet and a special surprise.
