Big-hearted boroughites put their best foot forward to help raise money for area youth during a benefit walk in Coney Island.
The annual Cosme’s Coney Island Boardwalk Turkey Trot drew area residents to the stretch of the Boardwalk, off West 19th Street, where they participated in a 5K run, followed by a pee-wee run for the pint-sized.
An indoor post-race reception was held at Peggy O’Neill’s, where participants were lauded with awards.
Among the first place winners were Liz Healy of Park Slope, and Deanna Philippe, a teacher from Bishop Ford High School, 500 19th Street.
