The Kane Street Synagogue will present a Tikkun Leyl Shavuot: Late Night Shavuot Study on “Money: Teachings from Classical Jewish Texts” May 28 at the shul, 236 Kane Street.
Evening services begin at 8 p.m. followed at 8:30 p.m. with the Tikkun study.
Rabbi Samuel Weintraub and several congregants will teach relevant imaginative and legal texts from the Torah, Prophets, Talmud and medieval and modern Jewish literature.
All text will be studied in English translation. No reservations, fees or background in Hebrew or Jewish texts are required, only a desire to learn.
Refreshments will be provided.
