Fall in line with Housing Works’ fall previews.
Throughout the spring and summer, Housing Works squirrels away top-quality fall merchandise, before they unveil the incredible fall loot at individual “preview” sales at each of their locations.
This year, they will be having 10 preview sales, including at the Brooklyn Thrift Shop, 122 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, September 22 from 5-8 p.m. Plus, they’re holding an online preview on their shopping Web site, www.shopho
Among the items up for grabs are a Gucci monogram tote ($150), Derek Lam tiered red dress ($250), Kate Spade red leather handbag ($60), Queen Ann-style armchair with hand-painted upholstery ($425), vintage German pewter lion bookends ($85), and set of eight lacquered chairs ($650).
In addition to these fabulous fall items, there will also be shoes from Gucci, Theory and Prada and jackets from Costume National, Alvin Valley and Diane von Furstenberg. Wowza.
Entry to the sale is $10 at the door; however, entry to all sales is free for Housing Works members.
