Bright-eyed youngsters shared the spotlight with an emerald empire sparkling with orange beauties when McCarren Park feted the young and the young-at-heart with a pumpkin patch.

The fall romp transformed the green, fringed by Nassau Avenue, and Bayard, Leonard and North 12th streets, into a thrill-seeker’s paradise as visitors engaged in arts and crafts, enjoyed a sweet serenade by live performers and selected their very own gourd to take home for Halloween.
