Health-smart visitors savor the lowdown on personal wellness during the inaugural Livin’ It Sweet: Healthy Alternatives food festival at Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street, presented by the Institute for Community Living in conjunction with eight other New York City behavioral health agencies.
Participants learned new ways to incorporate healthier foods and eating habits into their daily lives, whether shopping in a bodega or reaching into the refrigerator.
