As part of the “Shop Brooklyn” campaign, seventeen Northside merchants will offer special “Brooklyn Bonuses” starting November 27 (“Black Friday”—renamed “Brooklyn Friday”) and running through December 25. Some of the participating Northside merchants include:
The Bagel Store; The Bedford Cheese Shop; Brooklyn Fox; Fornino; ID Menswear; Jumelle; LuxEye; Miranda; Norbu; Pema; Red Pearl; Spike Hill; Spoonbill & Sugartown, Booksellers; Teddy’s; UVA; Verb; and Whisk
The Northside Merchants Association, in collaboration with local Northside businesses, has worked tirelessly to promote Shop Brooklyn among other programs and initiatives. “We are extremely excited to bring Shop Brooklyn to Williamsburg’s Northside retail community,” says Caitlin Dourmashkin, manager of the Northside Merchants Association. “We have a lot to offer, and we look forward to welcoming new shoppers into our smart and stylish boutiques, specialty shops, cafes, and restaurants.
