The Brooklyn Hospital Center is collecting toys for children this holiday season through December 31. Donations will be accepted until 5 p.m. that day.
Toys will be distributed to children at TBHC’s Pediatric Center, neighborhood family centers, and outpatient clinics, and through the Brooklyn Borough President’s Best of Brooklyn Toy Drive.
Toys can be dropped off in the collection box in the hospital’s lobby, 121 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, and at Manhattan Avenue Health Center, 960 Manhattan Avenue; and WilliamsburgFamily Health Center, 99 Division Avenue.
All toys must be new, unopened and unwrapped, and should also be in good taste and not be of a violent nature. The hospital cannot accept food items, dolls with detachable eyes or limbs, latex balloons or stuffed animals.
