Horrific car crash takes one life, wounds three others

Killed in crash

A 23-year-old man was killed on Feb. 27 following a horrific crash on Shore Parkway.

Witnesses told police that a 2007 Chrysler Seabring was speeding westbound on the Belt Parkway at 1:21 am when the driver lost control of the wheel at the Knapp Street exit ramp.

The Seabring swerved and crashed into a utility pole, killing the front seat passenger and injuring the driver and two women in the back seat.

Cops were still investigating what sparked the crash by late Monday.

Foolish flash

A 33-year-old man was arrested after he exposed himself to a 21-year-old woman riding a Stillwell Avenue-bound Q train on Feb. 26.

The lecherous lothario showed the woman everything he owned at 2:10 am as the train passed the Gravesend Neck Road station. When the train reached Stillwell Avenue, the woman grabbed a cop, telling the officer that the flasher was still on the train.

Rub a dub club

A 54-year-old man was arrested on Feb. 21 after he allegedly attacked his roommate with a golf club — while his victim was showering!

The victim was lathering up inside his Avenue W apartment, which is near Nostrand Avenue, at 8:30 pm on Feb. 16 when his older roommate threw the shower curtain back and tried to brain him with the club.

The younger victim as able to fight off his attacker, receiving a sliced thumb in the process.

Cabbie caper

A knife-wielding thug robbed a livery cab driver taking him to Batchelder Street on Feb. 26.

The cabbie told police that he picked up the would-be thief at a nightclub in Westbury, Long Island at 3:13 am.

The thief paid the cabbie for the ride in advance, but pulled a knife and demanded his money back when they approached the Sheepshead/Nostrand Houses near Avenue W.

Beaten at club

An unidentified thug brutalized a 22-year-old woman during a scrape at an Emmons Avenue club on Feb. 26.

The victim was partying at the nightspot, which is near Bragg Street, at 1:40 am when the suspect struck her in the side of the face — leaving her with injuries that guaranteed a hospital stay.

Peed off

A 26-year-old man found no relief on Feb. 21 after he was arrested for public urination on 18th Avenue.

Cops caught the man watering the street corner near 86th Street at 4:30 am and gave him a ciminal court summons.

Girl goons

Three teenage girls jumped a 40-year-old woman on Benson Avenue during a Feb. 24 clash.

The victim was between Bay 35th Street and 23rd Avenue at 7:40 pm when the three young women lunged at her, dragging her to the ground before making off with her purse.

Bonnie and Clyde

A young, gun-toting couple robbed a 14-year-old girl of her cellphone on Feb. 22 following a confrontation on Bay 14th Street.

The teen told police that she was between Benson Avenue and 86th Street at 1:30 pm when the couple approached — the male suspect raising his shirt to show off the gun in his waistband.

Handbag hooligan

Two young women raided an 86th Street handbag store on Feb. 18, taking two pricey purses.

Workers at Charlie’s Handbags, which is by Bay 25th Street, said the two teenagers entered the store at 1:45 pm — and punched an employee in the face in the process of running off with the bags.

Deli devils

Thieves broke into the Good News Deli on Bay Parkway on Feb. 19, taking $8,500.

Workers closed the store, which is near 63rd Street, for the night at 10 pm, but when they opened the next morning, someone had cut the locks to roll down security gates.

Masked miscreants

Two masked vandals attacked a Gerritsen Avenue home on Feb. 18 — lobbing rocks at a woman’s glass door.

The woman, who lives between Avenues S and T, said that three panes of glass were shattered during the 3 am assault.

Jewelry jack

A thief broke into a Brigham Street home on Feb. 18, taking an assortment of jewelry.

The thief entered the home, which is between Avenues X and Y, by forcing open a front window sometime after 4:30 pm.

Cash swipe

A crook snuck into an Avenue X apartment on Feb. 18, taking more than $5,000.

The 25-year-old victim told police that the thief entered his home, which is between Brigham and Bragg streets, sometime after 8 pm — through a window that, he admitted, he didn’t lock.
