Two thugs opened fire on two cousins outside the Bayview Houses on March 2, hitting a 17-year-old victim in the thigh.
Police said the 17-year-old and a 20-year-old relative were near E. 102nd Street at 1:15 am when a pair of thugs in hooded sweatshirts approached them.
“What’s poppin?” one of the men asked before he pulled a gun and opened fire, letting go six rounds.
The 17-year-old was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
A 26-year-old woman was arrested on March 2 after she went crazy inside a Flatlands Avenue apartment, threatening a second woman inside.
The two women were arguing in the apartment, which is near E. 101st Street, at 10:44 pm when she started banging on the door, damaging it. She also smashed a mirror and threatened the woman with a shard of glass before she was taken into custody.
Cops apprehended a 27-year-old woman on Rockaway Parkway after she threatened a man with a dagger.
The victim told police that he was having words with the woman near Avenue K at 1 am when she pulled out the knife and pointed it at him.
Cops caught up with the woman shortly after the threat was made, finding the dagger in her bag.
A 36-year-old man was taken into custody on drunk driving charges on March 6 after causing a multiple car accident that left one car spinning on its top.
Cops rolled up to the corner of E. 96th Street and Seaview Avenue at 3:24 am to find a flipped over Mercedes. But when they investigated further, they learned that a van had collided with a parked car that hit the Mercedes, causing it to flip over.
Cops took the driver of the van into custody when a Breathalyzer test showed that the motorist was as intoxicated as an 180-pound man would be if he had five drinks.
Shot in car
A gunman opened fire on a car sitting in an E. 51st Street parking lot on March 8, striking the motorist inside.
Gunshots were heard at 7:25 am in a small parking lot between Avenues I and J, witnesses told police. The victim, who was not named, was hit, but not seriously injured.
Gunning for cash
A pistol-packing perp jumped a 43-year-old man on E. 58th Street on March 3, taking $180.
The victim told police that he knew the thief who pistol-whipped and robbed him during the 3:10 am exchange that happened near Avenue I.
