Cops are hunting two gun-wielding bandits who raided a Midwood Metro PCS on Aug. 15, taking $1,300.
A store employee told police that he had just returned to the cell phone shop between Kings Highway and Quentin Road, sipping on a recently bought Snapple, at 4:30 pm when the crooks entered behind him wielding a silver firearm.
The bandits grabbed the witness and another employee and dragged them to the back of the store, where their hands were bound with zip ties, according to police.
“Where are the phones and cash?” one of the thugs demanded.
The crooks pilfered the register, making off with $1,300, but no cellphones were reported stolen, cops from the 61st Precinct said.
The two thieves were described as black males between 27 and 40-years-old. One man had a muscular build and was last seen sporting a baseball cap and carrying a black sack across his back. The second man had salt and pepper hair and wore a Yankees cap and sunglasses, police said.
