62nd Precinct

Bensonhurst—Bath Beach

Blood-colored glasses

A gang of 10 thugs brutalized a man for his phone and sunglasses on 86th Street on Nov. 28, police say.

The victim said he was between 21st Avenue and Bay 28th Street at 3:30 pm when the goons surrounded him and began beating him. The fiends then took his shades and mobile device before fleeing.

Bag beating

A brute threw a sack over an elderly woman’s head and beat her in her Avenue P apartment before ransacking the premises on Dec. 2, according to cops.

The 75-year-old victim told police there was a ring at her door between W. Sixth and W. Seventh streets at 8 pm, and when she opened it, the villain covered her face and punched her repeatedly before stealing her handbag and ring. Authorities are checking security tapes from the building lobby.

A crook stripped a vehicle parked on 84th Street on Nov. 24 — and even took the car’s seats, police report.

The motorist said she left the car between 18th and 19th avenues at 9:30 pm, and came back to see the window smashed — and the mirrors, radio, and seats gone.

Oldest trick in the book

Two female shysters scammed a Bensonhurst woman out of $7,500 after approaching her on Bath Avenue on Nov. 30, police say.

The victim told cops that the two middle-aged women came up to her while she was waiting for the bus between 14th Avenue and Bay Eighth Street at 10:45 am.

The femme fatales offered to split the contents of a bank book they just found if she paid them $7,500. The duped lady agreed, and drove with the two fraudsters to her bank, withdrew the funds, and handed them over. The victim was told to go to a home on 86th Street between Bay Seventh and Bay Eighth streets to retrieve her share, but when she got there, the resident told her he didn’t know what she was talking about.

Apple picking

A crook stole an iPhone from a car parked on Bay Parkway on Nov. 29, cops report.

The victim said he accidentally left his vehicle unlocked between 89th and 90th streets at 5:10 pm, and came back shortly after to find his device — and suitcase, backback, and credit cards — missing.

Pilled up

A robber raided a vehicle left on 86th Street for pharmaceuticals on Nov. 29, cops say.

The victim said she parked between Bay 10th and Bay 11th streets at 6:10 pm, and returned to see a pillager had smashed her passenger-side window and taken her medication, sunglasses, purse, and credit cards.
