Are you, or do you know someone that has a passion for local news?

BrooklynDaily.com and its family of newspapers is seeking a reporter to cover several exciting Southern Brooklyn neighborhoods.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, not afraid to ask questions, willing to follow rules, and be thrilled to work in a fun environment inside and outside of the office.

The candidate should have an excellent knowledge of social media and know how to use it to get eyes on a story. A car is not required, but would be helpful.

This entry-level position is a rare opportunity to get experience in the media capital of the world, covering New York City’s most interesting borough for well-respected website and newspapers that are read tens of thousands every day.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, send us a PDF of your resume, and a cover letter in the body of your e-mail to editorial@cnglocal.com.

Please make the subject of your e-mail “Reporter position.”
