Police are asking for help finding an 18-year-old Canarsie man who disappeared on Aug. 7.

Omar Jackson was last seen on East 95th Street between Avenues J and K at 5:30 pm. Police were looking for Jackson and a missing 8-year-old girl who lived with him and vanished at the same time, but she was found on Aug. 8, in good condition.

Jackson has brown eyes and black hair and was last seen wearing blue cargo shorts, a black and green striped sweater, and white Nike Jordan high-top sneakers.

Police ask those with information on the whereabouts of Jackson to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477, report it online at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or text-message tips to 274637 (CRIMES), then enter “TIP577”.
