Booze muscles

A 49-year-old woman was arrested on April 30 after she fought off a Coney Island liquor store employee who caught her shoplifting.

Police said that Zlata Bedrin was inside I&M Liquors on Neptune Avenue between West 5th and West 6th streets at 6:50 pm when the clerk accused her of swiping a bottle of cognac.

When the employee tried to stop her from leaving the store with the bottle, Bedrin allegedly punched the clerk in the face, leaving him with a slight injury.

Cops from the 60th Precinct took Bedrin into custody without incident, charging her with assault in the third degree, attempted petit larceny, menacing and harassment.
