Smells fishy

A jewel thief managed to swipe a pendant and a necklace from a jewelry store on May 14 after an employee mistakenly handed over the bling.

The employee at the jeweler on Fulton Street between Bond Street and Hanover Place told cops that he was attending to a customer at around 2:30 pm. While helping the one customer, he mistakenly handed the two jewels, valued at $5,000 each, to another customer, who then made a quick getaway.
