Privileged youth

Three thugs stormed a Jay Street recording studio on May 17, holding two would-be superstars at gunpoint as they stole a control board.

The pair of distraught American Idols told cops they were at the studio between Plymouth and John streets, called Privilege Recordings, at around 7 pm when the three music critics stormed the place.

The thugs then taped the victims’ hands together with duct tape and forced them to sit on the floor at gunpoint saying, “Calm down, you are not going to get hurt.” The crooks then stole the $10,000 piece of equipment, along with the singers’ wallets and cellphones.
