Drunken master

Some quiet bandits sneaked through a woman’s N. Sixth Street apartment while she slept on Jan. 23.

The victim told police that she’d had some drinks before bed, and that the perps must have broken into the unit, which is between Havemeyer Street and Meeker Avenue, after she went to bed at 10:40 pm. When she awoke eight hours later, she discovered that her laptop, purse and wedding ring were gone.

To add insult to injury, the thieves left open the front door, allowing the woman’s cats to escape.
