Jacked hammers

Two thugs stole two jackhammers from a construction site on Huron Street on July 16.

A worker told cops that he saw one of the perps enter the site, which is between Manhattan Avenue and McGuinness Boulevard, at about 4 pm. The worker got involved when he saw the thief grab a jackhammer, but the perp turned to a buddy behind a nearby fence and said, “Get the gun.”

The worker apparently backed off because the perp threw two jackhammers over the fence and made his escape.
