Popeye’s eyed

Two brigands stormed the Popeye’s Chicken on Livingston Street, forcing one employee into the walk-in refrigerator and demanding that the other open the safe at gunpoint on Jan. 23.

The victims told cops that the pair entered the fast-food joint between Bond Street and Hanover Place at around 9:15 am.

As they guided one of the employees at gunpoint to the safe, the two bozos apparently became nervous and bashed the worker in the face with a gun before fleeing the scene — without even a three-piece box.
