Shooter sought

Cops are pulling out all the stops in the search for the gunman who opened fire on an 88-year-old man on Aug. 19.

Cops are hoping a surveillance video will help identify the shooter, who opened fire at the senior at the corner of Flatbush Avenue and Winthrop Street at 3:43 pm, striking the man in the right hip as he sat inside a car.

He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.

Police identified his attacker as a black male in his 20s between 5’9” and 5’11”. He is believed to be about 200 pounds and was wearing a Chicago White Sox cap at the time of the shooting.
