Up in smoke

More than $500 in anti-smoking patches were swiped from a car parked near the corner of 11th Avenue and 77th Street on Feb. 8.

A 28-year-old woman told police that she had left the samples in her 2010 Mercury Mariner at 8:30 pm.

When she returned the next morning, she noticed that her front passenger window was smashed and the medication, plus an iPod, a navigation system and two pairs of sunglasses were gone.
