Held up at knifepoint

Two teens pulled a blade on a 14-year-old March 18, but ran off empty-handed after a heated exchange, officials said.

Police were told that the victim was walking past Avenue U and East 9th Street on his way home from school at 3:30 p.m. when two 15-year-olds grabbed him.

They pulled their knife and demanded the victim’s phone and iPod. They soon revised their plan after a brief struggle and fled before taking any loot, cops were told.

No injuries were reported.
