Dollar holler

A robber thought he was in for a pay day when he held up a 12-year-old boy on Broadway on April 19, but all he got was a dollar.

The perp, wearing a snorkeling mask and a hooded jacket, approached his victim at 2:50 pm near Middleton Street and asked him to empty his pockets. The victim obliged, pulling out a small toy.

Unhappy with the result, the perp asked him to empty his other pocket and threatened to punch him in the face.

This time, the search revealed a dollar, which the perp grabbed.
