Parking pains

A motorist attacked a city Traffic Enforcement Agent ticketing him for double-parking in Fraser on April 19, cops were told.

The agent told police that he was walking past the corner of Avenue M and East 38th Street at 7 pm when he spotted the double-parked car.

He was finishing up the ticket when the motorist, identified as 24-year-old Patrick Jacques, allegedly jumped him.

Police allege Jacques popped the agent in the face, knocking off his glasses. He then punched the city employee a few more times before getting in his car and leaving, police alleged.

Investigators from the 63rd Precinct tracked Jacques down this week, taking him into custody on charges of assault in the second degree, assault in the third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree, menacing and harassment.
