Lobo

Lobo American regional cuisine, which is different than Mexican cuisine or Cal-Mex. At Lobo, you’ll find foods with sauces that have layers of flavor. Try “The Wolf,” an enchilada combo dish with three classic sauces: spicy ranchero, chile con carne and chile con queso (cheese sauce) or the homemade tamales. They are wrapped in banana leaves, rather than the classic Mexican-style cornhusks. Other dishes, like chicken fried steak, get outside the Tex-Mex box. Because “Lobo” is Spanish for “wolf,” you might find your arm resting on a pillow with faux Nordic Wolf pelts while you sip your margarita made with fresh-squeezed lime juice. Al fresco dining in the backyard in summer. Open daily for brunch, lunch and dinner.
