Nathan’s Famous

The legendary Nathan’s began in 1916 as a nickel hot-dog stand and has grown into a fast food franchise with outposts as far as Israel and Egypt. The historic eatery continues to grab the spotlight with its annual July 4 hotdog-eating contest.

You can visit the original landmark and order its 309-calorie, 23-grams-of-carbs hotdogs at the sidewalk counter windows or go inside to order up the chicken sandwiches, “chargrilled” burgers, famous “krinkle cut” french fries, rotisserie chicken from Kenny Rogers, fresh-squeezed lemonade, shrimp boats and more. Outdoor seating is available.
