Water Street Restaurant

This restaurant, built on the bottom two floors of a renovated 19th-century landmark building in DUMBO in 2002, has a duplex effect: the first floor with its wooden bar, booths and brick walls overlooks the second – an enormous space with steel columns and stone detailing. The menu includes signature Southern dishes including shrimp and grits, slow-cooked ribs, deviled eggs and fried chicken. In October 2008 the restaurant added new seafood offerings! Available for catering and other parties in their exclusive underwater lounge. Hours: Sunday-Saturday, 12 pm- 10 pm
