Wild Ginger Cafe

Williamsburg’s pan-Asian vegan cafe offers a slew of seitan preparations, including smoked teriyaki and orange. The most popular dish at Wild Ginger is the black pepper seitan. If seitan isn’t your style, dive into a steaming bowl of stir-fried soba noodles, curry stew or pad Thai. If spicy entices you, Limbu said General Tso’s soy protein is precisely the fix. Pair it with a mint-iced tea for the perfect hot and cool combination. The pineapple-fried rice is also a hit, and an especially good choice for those looking for a more traditional Asian side. Lunch special is $7.50, and it runs every day from 12 pm-4:30 pm. Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 12 pm-11 pm; Friday-Saturday, 12 pm-11:30 pm.
