Yamato

Yamato is a favorite among Park Slope locals, and rightly so. This cherished spot consistently churns out fresh and elegant Japanese cuisine. The chef’s special rolls are attractively assembled, and include creative delights such as the valentine roll- salmon, crab and avocado topped with savory spicy tuna and crispy tempura flakes, and the sunshine roll-spicy white tuna and scallion embellished with three kinds of caviar. The decor is undeniably modern, with a sleek, pseudo-industrial interior. In the way of beverages, there is a robust menu of Saki and Teas. Hours: Monday-Thursday, 12pm-11pm. Friday-Saturday, 12pm-12am. Sunday, 12pm-11pm.
