Whitewashed brick walls, exposed beams and soft Greek music make this 10-year-old restaurant the closest replica of a Greek taverna you’ll find off the Greek isles. Owners Pete and Christina Lekkas, also owners of the Purbirds in Park Slope, offer grilled, sauteed octopus, served in aged red wine vinegar; whole fish in season; mussels steamed in ouzo; and grilled lamb chops served hand cut fries and homemade spinach pies. End-of-dinner treats include paper-thin baklava and Muscat, a fruity golden dessert wine from the island of Samos. Valet parking and garden seating available. Open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner. Closed Mondays.
