Gwynnett St

Gwynnett St is a tribute to the Village of Williamsburg and refers to the original Gwinnett St. Prior to 1852 the portion of Lorimer St, from Broadway to Grand, was the territory of old city Brooklyn and known as Gwinnett St. The street is named for Button GWINNET, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
