She’s gone from prognosticating pariah to pigskin princess!

Our gridiron goddess Ida Eisenstein rebounded with a respectable 8-6 showing this week, proving that reports of the demise of her picking prowess were greatly exaggerated.

Sure, there will always be haters out there, but Ida is simply returning their jealousy with love — for being right.

This week, Ida is finding inspiration in the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, who once said, “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” In other words, sometimes you just gotta cut loose — footloose, as our officemate’s ringtone so often reminds us.

Ida’s picks:

Jets (–3.5), Rams (+8.5), Ravens (+3), Bucs (+5), Falcons (+1), Dolphins (+3), Steelers (–14), Cowboys (+2.5), Colts (–3), Jaguars (+3).

Ida’s breakouts:

Seahawks (+7) over Bears: “They are coming off a bye week and maybe they will be well rested.”

Raiders (+6.5) over 49ers

“San Francisco hasn’t won a game yet — and they’re giving the Raiders six and a half points?”

Texans (-5) over Chiefs

“I don’t have to have a reason for everything.”

Ida’s Kryptonite Lock of the Week:

Giants (-10.5) over Lions: “They’ve won two in a row and they’re on a roll.”

Season record: 34-26 (3–1 on the Kryptonite pick)
