Public School 52 students are in a class of their own for putting their feet where their mouths are and raising big bucks for the American Diabetes Association.

The big-hearted bunch walked four times around their school in Sheepshead Bay — the equivalent of a mile — during their fifth annual “Step Out” benefit walk, raising $2,607 for the support and research organization, and boosting their street cred by carrying placards and chanting, “Stamp out diabetes.”

Students were rarin’ to plod for the stricken, said organizer Lara Novella who teaches gym at the school.

“They were very excited and looking forward to it!”

An added thrill this year? The budding benefactors met their goal of two grand — and then some, bragged Novella.

Second-grader Carissa Holley has time for a cheery wave as she pounds the pavement.
They’re steppin’ out — for a great cause!

Nia Thomas (left) and Amida Awofala — both fourth graders — are happy to do their part for the less fortunate.
Tatyana Leviveva, Angelina Melendez and Melissa Morales are rarin’ to go (from left).
